The breathtakingly beautiful music of Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer and Tan Dun will immediately transport you to the cinematic worlds of Interstellar and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Shostakovich’s imaginative first symphony is at times reminiscent of the theatre music he played as a cinema pianist, and his jazz waltz is prominently heard in Kubrick's final film, Eyes Wide Shut. Don’t miss this exhilarating cinema-infused concert with award-winning conductor Wilson Ng, cellist Trey Lee, and the HK Phil!
This concert runs an hour approximately, without an intermission.
