84 young musicians from renowned music schools and universities in China and abroad meet at 2024 Youth Music Culture The Greater Bay Area (YMCG) under the direction of Daniel Harding and the mentorship of 13 professional musicians from international orchestras. The grand finale of this two-week event cumulates in the closing concert in Hong Kong, with the 2024 YMCG Orchestra performs Dvořák’s “From the New World” Symphony and Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante with violinist Vilda Frang and violist Amihai Grosz. The orchestra will also premiere a commissioned work by Elliot Leung written specially for this venture.
