In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, performance venues under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department have been temporarily closed until further notice. Along with the uncertainties relating to the pandemic and travel restrictions, the advertised performance of "Sabine Meyer Plays Weber", originally scheduled for 15 January 2021  at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall, has been cancelled.

In her HK Phil debut, virtuoso clarinettist Sabine Meyer plays Weber’s Clarinet Concerto no. 1, one of the finest works ever composed for the instrument. The concert concludes with music from another of Beethoven’s most well-known contemporaries – Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony.

 

This chill-out programme is tailor-made for busy urbanites at a standard price of $280 for all seats. Concerts run approximately one hour with no intermission. After the performance, you are most welcome to mingle over drinks with HK Phil musicians and guest artists at the alfresco bar next to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, complimented by a stunning night view of the Victoria Harbour.
