Rachmaninov’s Third Piano Concerto is filled with passion and unforgettable melodies. Passion is also at the forefront of Tchaikovsky’s Francesca da Rimini, a tone poem inspired by what may be the most haunting story from Dante’s Inferno.
This chill-out programme is tailor-made for busy urbanites at a standard price of $280 for all seats. Concerts run approximately one hour with no intermission. After the performance, you are most welcome to mingle over drinks with HK Phil musicians and guest artists at the alfresco bar next to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, complimented by a stunning night view of the Victoria Harbour.
