Considered by Mozart as “one of my best thing written in my life,” principals from the winds section of the HK Phil will perform Mozart’s Wind Quintet with renowned pianist Mao Fujita. The Tokyo-born pianist will play Chopin’s 24 Preludes in the first half of the concert.
The concert runs approximately 90 minutes with an intermission.
Please note latecomers will miss the first half of the concert, and the audience is advised to allow enough time for admission.
No ticket dispensing machine is available at HKU. Customers choosing ticket collection services can collect their pre-paid tickets from URBTIX self-service ticketing kiosks at other locations or the sales counter at any of the URBTIX outlets with the credit card used for booking or by providing the claim ID.
Change of ProgrammeAfter discussion with the artists, the advertised programme of “HK Phil × HKU MUSE: Mao Fujita & HK Phil Winds” at HKU Grand Hall on 8 DEC 2024 has been adjusted and listed as above*.
Beethoven’s Quintet in E-flat will be replaced by Chopin’s 24 Preludes. The artists and remaining repertoire remain unchanged. Ticket-holders may continue to use their tickets for admission to the updated performance.
